OCC-"Popping By"

 

 It’s easy to get so wrapped up in “tradition” that we don’t question whether a certain practice could be more effective than the one we’re currently using! We love to ask real estate agents: “Is closing day actually the best day to give the client their gift?”

MAYBE NOT.

Now, that doesn’t mean we think you should go empty-handed! Show up with a card… and consider the tips below!


WHY WE RECOMMEND HAND-DELIVERING THE GIFT

  1. YOU CREATE ADDITIONAL INTERACTIONS: By setting up a ppo-by at a later date, you’ve created an extra face-to-face touch that you wouldn’t normally have had. Bonus!

  2. MEET THEIR INNER CIRCLE! You never know who you’ll meet when you pop by! Friends, neighbors

  3. MORE TIME: You get a little extra time to chat.

  4. EVERYONE IS LESS STRESSED: Closing can be chaotic! A pop-by later can be much more relaxed. Plus, you don’t have to stress about having your gift by a certain date. Avoid rush shipping fees, yay!

A FEW MORE TIPS:

  1. Consider setting up the POP-BY AT THEIR PLACE OF WORK! Delivering the gift to your client's workplace or business can mean meeting all their co-workers or employees!

  2. OR…SWING BY ON MOVE-IN DAY with pizza or bagels / cream cheese to share.

  3. PAIR YOUR CUTCO GIFT with a yummy pie from a local bakery, warm treat or favorite beverage, freshly baked bread or cheese spread/crackers

  4. Be sure to INCLUDE THE LETTER that describes your gift and builds value

  5. INCLUDE a family or seasonal recipe with your customized letter.
